Short version: this site collects very little, never sells anything, and doesn't use tracking cookies.

Who I am

This is the website of Miracle C. Chikezie (ByMiracleC). If you have any question about your information, write to [email protected].

Cookies

The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. It remembers two small preferences in your own browser (light or dark mode, and your reading-mode text size), which never leave your device. The admin area sets one essential login cookie for me only.

Analytics

If I add analytics, it will be a privacy-friendly, cookie-free tool such as Plausible, and this page will say so.

The newsletter

If you sign up, your email address (and first name, if you give it) is stored by my newsletter provider so I can send you letters. You'll be asked to confirm first, and every email has an unsubscribe link. I never share or sell the list.

The MiracleC the World map

When you pin your city, I store your first name, city, country, note, optional photo and optional email. Before anything appears publicly I review it. Only your first name, city, country, note and (if you ticked the box) your photo are shown. Your email is never shown and is only used to tell you your pin is live.

  • Locations are stored at city level (rounded to about one kilometre), never your address.
  • Photos are stored privately and only shown if you gave consent.
  • To protect against spam, I keep a one-way, scrambled version of your IP address for a short time. It can't be turned back into your IP.
  • Ask me at any time and I'll remove your pin and photo.

City suggestions in the form come from Photon (OpenStreetMap data); what you type in the city box is sent to them to find matches.

Messages and requests

When you use a contact, booking or signed-copy form, I keep your name, email and message so I can reply. I delete them when they're no longer needed.

The shop

Purchases happen on Etsy, under Etsy's privacy policy. This site never sees your payment details.

You can ask to see, correct or delete anything I hold about you. Write to [email protected].
